Marilyn Henry

Renowned artist Marilyn Henry created a series of celebrity paper doll books to fit in with the classic paper dolls of the 1940s and '50s. The pages are beautifully designed with star photos and page decorations to enhance the wardrobes of movie costumes. Wonderful likenesses and expertly illustrated fashions have made Marilyn's paper dolls highly sought after by paper doll collectors and fans of movie memorabilia. After a career as a fashion illustrator and art instructor, Marilyn enjoyed nearly 30 years as art director and co-editor of the Paperdoll Review magazine. Our beloved Marilyn passed away on September 13, 2020. To continue Marilyn's paper doll legacy, Paper Studio Press/Paper Doll Review has obtained the exclusive rights to publish the many wonderful paper dolls she illustrated over the years.
